Reinventing the shopping experience in luxury tourism
We have designed and built an immersive, high-fidelity visual shopping experience for luxury hotel suites, combining cutting-edge technology with a substantial understanding of consumer requirements and preferences within the luxury travel industry.
Innovation as a lever for transformation
Our solution is based on a framework that we have developed (partially funded by the European Union and subsidized by CDTI), which integrates technology for generating immersive photorealistic content with real data. The foundation of this framework is an advanced system for creating photorealistic environments and simulations, combined with an exploitation layer that enables us to create immersive experiences and digital twins.
The key to this system is the application of technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and artificial intelligence (AI). These technologies allow for the simulation of environments with incredible precision, enabling users to explore and experience a luxury hotel suite as if they were really there.
In this particular project, we have created a demo that simulates the process of purchasing a luxury hotel suite. Users can explore the suite interactively, allowing them to experience aspects such as the views from the balcony or the lighting of the environment at different times of the day.
Maximum customization & accessibility
Our solution opens up a wide range of possibilities for users, allowing them to significantly personalize their experience. Customers have the ability to select a variety of add-ons for their purchase, such as gourmet packages for the minibar, different sets of pillows or sheets, or even themed packages like romantic options.
Users can also enjoy real views of the suite from the balcony, offering a more accurate perception of the environment they are considering to purchase. Additionally, the solution allows for the simulation of different lighting conditions or variations in furniture to adapt to different scenarios or use cases, increasing the depth and authenticity of the immersive experience.
The solution has been designed to be accessible from a diverse range of devices. Whether it’s through a mobile phone, tablet, computer, or even via extended reality glasses, users can immerse themselves in the experience from the location and device that is most comfortable for them. This not only provides a high level of flexibility and convenience but also enhances the sense of realism and immersion in the experience.
